I will be a 61 yr. young woman this month Jan. I have had many problems in the past seven years of my life…car wreck in ‘02 and found out I had breast cancer a month later. I have had all crowns for over 20yrs. upper and lower. Now I have lost all bottom teeth except one and it is ready to come out anytime now. I don’t know what to do or where to turn. I have dental insurance but don’t know what they would pay for implants. I, being on disability and drawing very little each month to live on couldn’t afford this expensive procedure. I am willing to do anything I can to get help with this….there are very few things I can eat now. I do have a lower partical and can keep it in somewhat but it flops up and down. I am a very vain person and this is killing me. I have always said before I would go without my teeth I would rather die and am to this point now.
Please someone HELP ME!
I live in Newland N.C. and there isn’t anyone around that does implants.

In 1988 I had corvent implants put into the lowergsolidly to the lowerum. They were placedon two -two piece posts. The lower posts are solid. The upper part of the posts are cemented solidly to the lower posts. In 2009 I had two other posts placed adjacent to the old posts,and are much lower than the old posts.As a result the lower denture seems to be weakening. The holes for the old posts are widening . I am a bus driver and i need my front teeth to smile i can’t because it’s too embarassing , i’m a single mother of three , i was always told that i have a pretty smile and i need to smile more . too embarassing. i had a partial for my top now it has broken, Thank You.

its hard to eat,embarassing to smile,and I was on medication that made my beautiful teeth go bad.I am on medicare,medicaid.Maybe that will be a plus for me.I can travel,but not to far,I’m not allowed to drive,so therefore I have someone that will.Thank you,Georgetta kersey!

I was told I have bone loss in my upper front tooth and would not be a candidate for a bome graft since i had a maryland bridge in the 80s which is now broken. I was told I needed a fixed bridge which requires 3 teeth to be grinded down. Any good suggestions

your right when you say that your self-esteem is lost…..mine is totally lost.i have no friends cause of my conditions,i’m on a fixed income,and medicare only pays for extraction,partials,and dentures.so i can’t afford the implants.
someday i will ,but it will be to late.
i need help.cynthia
