If you have previously had a vasectomy but now have a desire to father a child, then the encouraging news for you is that the process may well be reversible. We take a look at the vasectomy reversal process and see how likely you are to regain your fertility.

You’ll find that a vasectomy reversal is more likely to be successful the sooner that it is undertaken. It is believed the ideal time period to have a reverse vasectomy is the initial three years from the time that you first underwent your vasectomy. Your chances for a successful vasectomy reversal will slowly begin to deteriorate the more time passes by after these opening three years.

When you undergo a vasectomy reversal, the surgeon will perform either a vasovasostomy or a vasoepididymostomy. With a vasovasostomy, the surgeon will attempt to sew your vas deferens back together. This is the most likely procedure that your surgeon will perform. A vasoepididymostomy is a bit more complicated and this is normally carried out if there happens to be a blockage in the epididymis. When performing a vasoepididymostomy, your surgeon will look to join your vas deferens to your epididymis.

Anyone who is considering a vasectomy reversal will want to know what the chances are for success. Well, recent studies have indicated that those men who underwent a vasovasostomy, sperm was found to be present in approximately 90 percent of cases and that 50 percent of those had later gone on and fathered a child. As for those who had undergone a vasoepididymostomy, sperm was found to be present in approximately 65 percent of cases and just 25 percent of those men had later gone on and fathered a child.

If you do intend to go on and have a vasectomy reversal, then you can help improve your chances for a successful operation by finding a surgeon who is experienced in this line of work and particularly with microsurgical procedures.

No one is guaranteed to have their fertility restored unto them. But by selecting a surgeon who as a solid background in microsurgical procedures and by having your vasectomy reversal performed as soon as you can; you can really help to increase your chances of being a father to a newborn child.

The most obvious sign of genital herpes is the appearance of red bumps in and/or around the genital area, often starting around two weeks after the initial exposure to herpes. The bumps may spread to the anus and/or surrounding skin, and in some cases also develop within the vagina and/or urinary tract. These bumps turn into blisters, which in turn become sores. Often these sores become encrusted and very itchy; after a period of time, however, they will clear up. An outbreak can involve a large number of sores, but can just as easily involve just a single one.

Because genital herpes is incurable, these outbreaks will recur over time. Certain medications are available to increase the length of time in-between herpes outbreaks.

Other symptoms of genital herpes may or may not accompany an outbreak. These include a reddening and/or sudden extreme dryness of the genital area; a burning, itching, and/or painful sensation in the genital area; vaginal discharge; difficulty urinating; headache; fever; and/or swollen glands.

The most difficult aspect of genital herpes, and a large contributor to its spread, is that the herpes virus can remain inactive in many individuals and never cause them to show any signs or symptoms of the condition. However, they are still able to spread genital herpes to others. Many times the symptoms of genital herpes are confused with other conditions, such as yeast infections, urinary tract infections, and even ingrown hairs.

While it’s important to know and be able to recognize the symptoms of genital herpes, you should always seek an official diagnosis from a medical professional if you are at all concerned that you may have contracted the disease. Only they will be able to say for certain whether your symptoms are the result of herpes. If you do have genital herpes, they can provide you with medication and important information necessary to handle the condition.

If you are currently experiencing an outbreak of genital herpes, a doctor can diagnose your condition visually. A blood test or a viral culture can also check for the herpes simplex virus, although results can be vague and/or inaccurate in many cases. Two different strains of the herpes simplex virus lead to genital herpes: HSV-1 and HSV-2. The former, HSV-1, can indicate any form of herpes, including mouth sores, and does not necessarily translate into a genital herpes diagnosis. However, HSV-2 is almost always linked to genital herpes, and is a more reliable sign of the disease.

This article is a very personal one, but one I wanted to share with you, as there are always tens of thousands of men considering whether to have a vasectomy reversal.

The desire for a vasectomy reversal can come from two main causes: divorce or relationship break up, and a change in financial circumstances that makes having a baby affordable whereas before, at the time of the vasectomy, it may not have been.

Most commonly, men have a vasectomy in marriage, when they or their partner, or both, have decided they do not want any more babies. The reason does not matter, really, the fact is they have the vasectomy because of that particular relationship.

Should a couple make a decision to have no further children then a male vasectomy is the best option. It is a simple outpatient operation. I always compared it to going to the dentist, except you open your legs instead of your mouth. It is also quite painless, although in my case I did not appreciate the painkiller wearing off while I was driving home, after I was assured it was going to be ok. Using the clutch was not a bundle of fun for the last few miles. But the vasectomy was done, as it is commonly every day for thousands of men around the world. At the time, I never gave a thought for vasectomy reversal in the future.

Many years later I was divorced, and it was not long before I was thinking about having the vasectomy reversed. I was in England then, but later in 1998 I decided I would probably move abroad. I eventually decided on the Philippines as the most suitable country that I would settle in the quickest.

In 1999 I started researching vasectomy reversals, but there were not many places in the UK that I could find on the internet at the time. Eventually, I did find one in my own county, Dorset, so I quickly earmarked that for my eventual vasectomy reversal. By that time, I was firmly of the idea I wanted more children.

In July of 2000, I visited the Philippines for 3 weeks to check out a few possible locations to settle in, and to confirm to myself that it would be the best place for me to live. As it turned out, it was way beyond expectations. The beauty, the friendliness, the warmth, the character of the place and the people, all told me that I was going to the best possible place to escape the cold miserable climate of England.

After the visit, I gave myself just 6 weeks to get myself organised, personally, financially, and business wise, to leave England for good. I knew that getting a vasectomy reversal was not likely to be possible in the Philippines, so if ever I was going to have one, it had to be there and then, while still in England.

I fixed the vasectomy reversal operation for just 3 weeks before I left the country. It was a short outpatient visit to a private hospital some 25 miles away. The operation was done under full anaesthetic, and I recall it being a very relaxed sort of day. By then I had sold my car, and had to rely on a taxi to get me to the hospital and collect me. The lady driver was very sympathetic, and actually very supportive, helping to make it more of a day out than a trip to hospital.

The surgeon was making no promises about the success of the vasectomy reversal, and my chances of fathering any more babies. He told me beforehand that he could usually tell, as soon as opening up a man, whether or not he was likely to have sufficient sperm to produce a child. I wondered what chances he thought I had, but I never saw him afterwards to ask.

My next contact with the surgeon was in 2003. I had been in the Philippines 3 years when I met Mary Ann, my wife. Within 6 weeks of our living together, she was pregnant. I was absolutely over the moon, and one of the first people I told was the surgeon. I also passed on my profound thanks for our little miracle, a baby daughter who now brings delight not just to us, but everyone who meets her.

The topic of male enhancement is often considered a highly personal matter, one of which numerous men have difficulty talking about. There is no doubt that there are many men who wish to enjoy a more sustained sexual experience, even if they don’t wish to discuss it. Over the years, the subject of male enhancement has become easier to explore, and as such, more research has been devoted to this quest for male enhancement. This increase in research has lead to a greater understanding of the functioning of the penis and has resulted in new finds and better remedies.

Healthy erections are a result of a widening and contracting of the arteries within the penis and a resulted rush and restriction of blood flow. The penis grows in size as blood continues to flow into the arteries of the penis and there is a marked decreased in the amount of blood flowing out. The more blood that goes in, the harder the erection becomes.

Aging seems to be a leading contributor to problems associated with erection quality. However, it is not uncommon for men under the age of thirty to experience issues such as a weakened erection, immature ejaculation, and even impotence. Many of these problems are a direct result of a decrease in the normal amount of blood flow going to the penis during a state of arousal.

Stress and anxiety can play a major factor in erection quality, as both stress and anxiety release adrenaline into the system and adrenaline slows the blood. This, of course, decreases the amount of blood flowing to the penis, directly affecting one’s sexual performance. For some men, this can turn into an increasingly vicious cycle. Their worries about not being able to perform actually trigger the release of adrenaline, which thereby causes their fears to come true.

Luckily, there are numerous products available on the market that have been proven to drastically and efficiently increase male enhancement, offering men a sustained erection in addition to increased penis size and sexual desire. Numerous men, and their partners, have energized and breathed new life into their sexual lifestyles through the use of these products. One of the top products on the market, Maca Enhancer, offers not only a solution to the problems outlined above, but creates a solution to alleviating the stress involved in achieving an erection for some men.

In the modern day, there is no reason for anyone to not be able to enjoy quality male enhancement. Research the options and choose the one that is best for you and your partner. Doing so has proven to enhance both male function and sexual relationships for men across the globe.

Did you know that men who suffer from impotence are generally more likely to suffer from depression?

In fact, impotence or erectile dysfunction can cause stress and anxiety at home, in relationships and even at work. Unfortunately, in America alone, male impotence affects almost 30 million men. Surveys say, men who suffer from impotence have reported the following: lower self-esteem, relationship turmoil, less motivated at work, embarrassment, feeling ashamed and poor self-image. Still unfortunately, the list could go on for those who suffer from this problem. Fortunately, there is GOOD news! You can be cured if you take the proper steps… Guaranteed!

Let’s first understand the problem!

For beginners, erectile dysfunction (impotence) is the inability to achieve or maintain an erection for a consistent period of time. Do not be alarmed if you or a loved one is occasionally unable to achieve an erection; this is quite normal. For an erection to occur, the male genital needs both an adequate inflow of blood and a slowing of blood outflow. Various disorders, diseases and causes can create a scenario for impotence but here is a general list for those who suffer from an erectile dysfunction.

Possible Causes for Male Impotence:

1. No exercise: Men who do little activity are prime candidates for impotence.

2. Over weight: Men who have a high Body Mass Index (BMI) are also likely to suffer from impotence. If you want to know your BMI, simply Google BMI and you can check your body fat.

3. Depression: Depression affects mind, body and sex life!

4. Stress: Any stress is bad stress and could possibly be your impotence problem.

5. Sickness: If your body is taken care of, you would be surprised of the outcomes!

6. Atherosclerosis: Plaque in the arteries caused from bad diet, obesity or genetics will create less blood flow to you know where!

7. Diabetes: Diabetics and overweight typically run hand-and-hand with impotent men.

8. Alcohol or drug abuse: Drugs such as antidepressants, sedatives, and antihypertensives have been known to contribute to impotence.

9. Stokes, prostate surgery or hormonal imbalance have also been known to be followed by impotence.

Impotence Treatments have Harsh Side-Effects

Various medical treatments increase blood flow to the genital region and will allow most men to have an erection. Obviously, these treatments are great for ending impotence for the time being. But wait! Numerous treatments have side-effects that can actually do more harm than good! Some of the side-effects related with drug treatments include: liver dysfunction, increased risk of stroke, enlargement of prostate, headaches, upset stomach, vision problems, low blood pressure, anxiety, shaking, rapid heart rate, and raise in blood pressure. Many of these side-effects can be scary if not deadly. No Thank You!
