Beware of Swindles Offering Up Free Acai Berry Products

By Ryan Dodson

With the growing popularity of the Acai berry and associated products, there are many corporations that operate on the Internet; providing Acai based products for wellness. While there are several valid sellers online, it is not entirely startling that there are now also several offers for Acai supplements that are not really genuine.

To protect yourself from unscrupulous sales methods, and with all internet sites that ask you to provide your personal information, make sure that the site you are looking at has a privacy policy in addition to accurate contact info. This should include electronic mail and phone, or at the very least, one or the other. Typically, vendors that function lawfully want to have communication with their customer base. Businesses that are functioning with shady practices would choose not to be reached at all.

Many internet sites are now extending a free trial of Acai berry products. If you chance upon one of these, be overcautious. Often they will ask for charge card and other private data. Before you supply these particulars, including your email address, be certain that there is some evident method of communicating with the company directly. There are instances where you may think you are to receive a free sample of a product, but you end up incurring charges on your credit card for a monthly service of which you may not have been aware. Often, there is no contact information for these businesses. So it is hard to have the service and its accompanying charges to your credit card, invalidated.

Another fashion in which some unethical vendors foil clients is by using a process that peels a great deal of the nutrients from the Acai berry, frequently using the non-potent seeds from the berry, or even thinning out the concoction so much that it grows hardly potent at all. Since it is next to impossible for virtually all consumers to travel to the fabrication facility to determine how the procedure operates first hand, it is important to only consider dealing with a reputable vendor that provides contact information.

There are also scams that prey on people by throwing in the names of famous people in order to entice you to supply your personal data, including charge card number in order to acquire a free sampling. If you follow these points and deal with only trusted online sites, you are a good deal less likely to lose your money or be taken in by a con.

I hope the 83 is removed from my account…..because i intend to do the same plus I might try Small Claims Court for my hospital ER bill. I’ve never heard of such fraud. Thanks for your comments. JB

I ordered colon cleanse and received it two weeks after. I then tried it for the number of days specified in the free ad. WHen I attempted to cancel they charged me the full amount because the offer for free was”valid from the time of ordering” and I was beyond the time allowed to return it! I never got it in the time allowed!!! Total fraud.

BE WARE THEY ARE ALL FRAUDS. I THOUGHT IT WAS QUITE IRONIC WHEN I CALLED TO CANCEL AN ORDER THAT I HAD NOT REQUESTED, I WAS TOLD THAT THEY DON’T ACCEPT RETURNS (PRODUCT HAD NOT BEEN OPENED) THEY ALSO TRIED TO TAG ON A HEALTHY LIFESTYLES PROGRAM FOR AN ADDITIONAL 24.99 A MONTH – TAKE MY ADVISE JUST LEAVE THESE PRODUCTS ALONE – GO TO A VITAMIN STORE AND SPEAK WITH THE ASSOCIATES THEY CAN GIVE YOU MORE INFORMATION ON THEIR PRODUCTS AND YOU WILL HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH RETURNS IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED. LEAVE THESE CRIMINALS ALONE THEY ARE NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!

any time i go on line and fine some type of product to help you loose wieght and it say free,i start filling out the info. ande then they ask for your credit card info. that should be a dead give away that nothing is free so i exit out and do something else because i know i don’t have any money to be giving away. I’m sorry for those of you whom they have gotten over on but next if it say free and you have to give out credit card info. do like i do and exit out and move on because that lets you know that it is a scam.
